We are all born creative but as we proceed through life, we tend to loose our creativity. We tend to follow what everybody else is doing and at many times, forget about what we want. There are many ‘norms’ that we follow irrespective of what we think or how we feel just because those things are in style and that’s how things are done. If we unleash the creativity within ourselves, we can achieve a lot more in life, at home as well as at work.

One important realization is that there is no single right answer or ‘the’ right way to do things. There are always alternatives, and every alternative has its own consequences. It is important to be disciplined and follow rules, but it is equally important to question the rules in order to know why they exist in the first place.

The way you think may not always be right but still you need to think and improve your thinking. Its better to make mistakes and learn than making no mistakes at all.

God has graced everyone with the power to think and even if the world is doing fine without you, it may do even better when you come up with an idea. Ideas come to people who are open to them. Some people even think that they are not creative but this isn’t possible. The difference lies in the amount of creativity you let out.

The latest episode of Universe was another excellent adventure into the psyche of the people stranded on the Destiny. Of especial interest is we finally see Camile Wray go and visit her wife using the communication stones, this is the one time I have to complain about this series, when it's a heterosexual couple they have no problem showing the couple in the bedroom, but the lesbians don't get a love scene. Now I myself actually prefer not seeing the love scenes of the any of the couples my complaint is that the lesbians are treated differently than the breeders. It's time to grow up and show equality to the lesbians and gays on tv.

okay now that I've finished my tirade I will say I like the departure in style of Universe from the previous shows in the Stargate franchise. So far there are no big bad guys every week (can you say G'ould and Wraith?) it's just how a group of people thrust into another galaxy with no warning, no way home, and almost no supplies cope with this and the fact that they have no control over their ship, where their going, and the people back on earth are willing to gamble with all there lives on any chance to get them home, with disastrous results.

So if you haven't watched Universe yet, tune in and watch this wonderful show, you'll get hooked.

I must say that I have mixed thoughts about "Cloud Computing".  What are your thoughts on this?  Is this gonna grow in popularity or is it just another fad?  I kind of like having my personal files with me and not in the Net World.  How much information about me will I allow Google to know about me?  I'm also not sure about the fact that they will only release this for Netbooks.  Why not my desktop?  Recent reviews on Netbooks clearly show that they have a short life span and tend to fail over time. (I just read a great article about netbooks that I will share as soon as I find the link again...sorry)

A password is the means of authentication for proving access and if a password is known to someone else, he can easily pose to be the authorized person and misuse the authority. This is a major security threat and hence passwords should be chosen carefully and kept securely.

A good password is the one which is easy to remember yet hard to guess by others. The best passwords are made up of phrases that one can easily remember or have a personal influence. For e.g. a quote of your choice or a phrase like ‘imapositivebeliever’ can serve as a good password.

Adding symbols to the phrase or any other password is the easiest way to make the password strong. Capitalizing some characters in between helps along with replacing alphabets with special symbols e.g. ‘a’ with ‘@’, ‘e’ with 3 etc, ‘i’ with ‘!’. These changes are guessable but you can apply your creativity while forming a password and create passwords that make sense to you but not to everybody.

To keep passwords secure once you have created them, make sure you do not write them down and keep them handy. You must learn them so that no body else can read them.

Never use information like your vehicle number as passwords as they can easily be found or guessed by others. Also, you should change passwords every few weeks. Creating strong passwords and keeping them safe is not at all inconvenient and always pays in the long run.

Soundtrack Features Original Music by Richard Marvin

(November 10, 2009- Los Angeles, CA) – Lakeshore Records will release the original soundtrack for SURROGATES, available digitally (iTunes and Amazon Digital) on November 10th and in stores on November 24, 2009.  Richard Marvin (U-571, TV’s Three Rivers and Without a Trace) composed the score.

SURROGATES marks the fourth collaboration between director Jonathan Mostow and composer Richard Marvin – the first three were U-571, Flight of Black Angel, and Breakdown.  Marvin was a top studio pianist playing for composers including Maurice Jarre, Jerry Goldsmith, and John Williams.  In the 1980s, he worked with Mike Post who gave Marvin the opportunity to compose for The A-Team and Hardcastle & McCormick.  Marvin’s television work also includes Six Feet Under, In Treatment, Without A Trace, and the new series Three Rivers.

Touchstone Pictures presents SURROGATES, based on the comic book The Surrogates by Robert Venditti, a gripping action thriller by Jonathan Mostow (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machine, Breakdown) which also stars Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, Boris Kodjoe, James Francis Ginty, Michael Cudlitz, James Cromwell, and Ving Rhames.

People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogate—sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves.
